From the moment I walked into the wedding planner’s office, I knew this was going to be a no-brainer, which is why I chose to work for an event planning firm. I was too busy with my job to really look for anything special, and I always felt the planning process was too rushed. However, this new wedding service is taking a very different approach. Instead of taking time to plan the perfect wedding, they are taking time to plan a wedding that will be memorable.

I have not been a wedding planner, so I am not a good judge, but I can definitely appreciate that you don’t want to be a wedding planner. Wedding planners are the people who are out to make sure you get the most money out of your wedding, get it “perfect”, dress it to the right price, and that everything else will go smoothly.

You’ll also want to make sure your wedding planner is a full-on, full-time person. I can’t stress enough that you cannot have someone working full time for you. And you should use a planner who knows what they are doing, as opposed to someone who is just taking orders and giving you the run around.

Wedding planning is one of those things that I think is pretty important. It not only makes your wedding more fun and personal, but it also makes it a whole lot more efficient. You can create a wedding that is more of a true celebration of your relationship. And if you are having one big, long, fun event at your home, then you can probably count on the fact that you will not have any problems with guests not showing up.
