For the last three years, Ive been training with a group of folks in the health and wellness field, and the key to success is to train your body to make you do what your body is designed to do. We call this the “ideal lean pre workout.
The idea is that by using high intensity exercise and proper technique, your body will get the work it needs to be strong. But it doesnt’ have to be weak, it just needs to be strong. Thats it. In other words, it doesnt’ have to be weak. Its just the right type of strength.
The idea of an ideal lean pre workout is that its designed to make you stronger. But the idea of strength is not the same thing as strength. Strength is the ability to lift something by your own strength. Strength is not the ability to lift something by a formula or by using a machine. Strength is the ability to lift something that you can put your own body to work.

However, a lot of the strength gains that are made in the gym are due to the fact that they are doing a lot of cardio. And the cardio isn’t done in a gym, it’s done on a treadmill or elliptical machine.
