The Most Common dad wedding gift Debate Isn’t as Black and White as You Might Think

This dad wedding gift is a new favorite of mine. I love the little black box that it comes with. I have never used this gift, but I’m so glad that I did. The little box is a really fun way to let your guests know that you are a real person.

In a lot of ways the gift is a very simple thing–and a little bit of a joke. The box itself looks like a little small suitcase but there’s a button on the bottom that makes it more like a bag. There are also little pockets on the side, and it has your name and your spouse’s name and a picture of the person you are married to.

The gift is the perfect way to say “I think I’m a real person, and I think I can remember all my friends and family” if you get married. It’s a way for your guests to know that you really are a part of their lives, and if they ask for some sort of acknowledgement from you, they know you’re real too.

Not a big fan of the little pockets though. It feels a bit tacky in my opinion. Also I found the idea of pockets on a bag odd, and I don’t know if it holds your stuff. I mean I’m sure that a person could go through their items in their pockets but thats kind of a big deal. I mean, I could get away with it when I’m looking for all my groceries or something like that. It’s more of a personal thing.

Yes, that’s exactly the feeling I got from dad’s wedding. And, yes, it was tacky. I mean, the pockets looked so easy. But, I found it odd that even when I picked up the package I had to wrestle with it for a bit before I could even get my hands on the contents.

There are ways to take your stuff without it looking tacky (or worse), and if you have your items in a neat container, you can even take the contents to a different room without worrying about it looking tacky. But not all dads are like that. I was surprised to find that the majority of dads I’ve talked to have a sense of humor and enjoy a bit of fun with the stuff that they own. The same goes for women, too.

It’s so obvious that most people don’t have a sense of humor about the stuff they own. So if anything, it’s important to remember that you don’t have to be a dick in this matter.
