When I carry my son around in his buggy, I feel every little bump and bruise, as if he were alive! So, I guess I’ll carry him for a few more years of life. Until he falls asleep in a bed his size, I would be quite happy to carry him in a carrier for the first few years.
Yeah, like I said, I feel every bump and bruise, and I don’t care if he falls asleep in a bed his size or not. I’m just happy he’s not a toddler anymore.

I’m not going to pretend that carrying a child is something you just do. It does take some skill and strength, but it’s actually one of the most physically demanding things you can do. You need to be able to lift, carry, and balance your baby as well as you can. It’s a pretty big deal, and it’s not something you can do as a woman.

I think its more a matter of having a lot of time to get your new born out of your carrying bag. Its also a bit of a pain because you have to have a baby. You cant just lay on a table. That being said I can honestly say I have carried my baby quite comfortably, and its not like I was in a rush.
I love my new baby, and he’s a lot of fun. But it takes a lot of strength to actually carry him. I don’t think I’ve ever carried him by myself, but I think I’ve been able to do it with the assistance of my mother. Even with the help of my mother, you still have to use a lot of muscle.
